Butternut steak soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups butternut cooked
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 300 g steak medium to rare
  • 5 ml olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 ml hot water depending on how thick you prefer your soup

Instructions
 

  • Fry onion and garlic in oil till tender
  • Add butternut and stir for 5 minutes
  • Add hot water if necessary
  • Mix in a blender untill purea
  • Cut steak in strips and add to butterut soup
